Adam and Amy Nash Explore the Future of Displays at SID Display Week 2026 in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES — Tech personalities Adam Nash and Amy Nash of 911Reviews.com traveled to the Los Angeles Convention Center this week for SID Display Week 2026, where they received an inside look at the latest innovations from global display giant BOE Technology Group.

Known as one of the largest display manufacturers in the world, BOE showcased a wide range of next-generation technologies spanning LCD, OLED, MicroLED, AI-powered collaboration systems, and advanced gaming displays. According to BOE, the company now powers approximately one in every four displays globally, underscoring its growing influence across consumer electronics, automotive technology, enterprise systems, and mobile devices.

During the booth tour, Adam Nash highlighted BOE’s three major technology pillars: ADS Pro high-performance LCD panels, flexible f-OLED displays, and Alpha MLED MicroLED solutions.

“One of the biggest things that stood out to me was how realistic the displays looked in person,” said Adam Nash of 911Reviews. “BOE’s new RGBX technology delivers richer color, incredible depth, and a much more lifelike image while also reducing power consumption. You can really tell the company is thinking about both performance and efficiency.”

Among the most talked-about technologies was BOE’s new UB Cell 5.0 RGBX panel, an 85-inch 4K display utilizing a four-color pixel structure capable of reaching 130% of the BT.2020 color gamut while cutting energy usage nearly in half compared to traditional display systems.

Adam also tested BOE’s newest foldable OLED display technology in a sub-zero environment demonstration designed to showcase durability and crease reduction.

“I tried the Subzero demo myself, fully expecting the screen to lag or get brittle,” Adam explained during his coverage. “Didn’t happen. The Ultraglaze Fold OLED kept folding like it was room temperature.”

Gaming technology also played a major role at the exhibit, including a futuristic zero-bezel gaming monitor capable of reaching an astonishing 1,000Hz refresh rate for ultra-fast competitive gameplay with virtually no motion blur.

Amy Nash noted that the experience demonstrated how quickly displays are evolving beyond traditional screens.

“What impressed me most was how interactive and intelligent everything has become,” said Amy Nash. “The AI integration was everywhere — from smart conference tools to translation displays and collaborative office technology. It feels like displays are turning into active assistants rather than passive screens.”

A major focus throughout the exhibit was BOE’s AI-driven “Blue Whale” ecosystem, which integrates artificial intelligence across manufacturing, collaboration, and user interaction. Demonstrations included AI-powered whiteboards capable of summarizing meetings in seconds, conference nameplates featuring real-time language translation, and adaptive display systems designed to personalize user experiences dynamically.

“Displays are no longer something you just look at,” Adam added. “They’re becoming more immersive, more adaptive, and a lot more intelligent. BOE’s booth wasn’t just showing products — it was showing where the entire display industry is headed.”

The visit to SID Display Week 2026 continues 911Reviews’ growing coverage of major technology conferences and innovation showcases around the world.
